Places to Visit In Ladakh

Place to Visit in Ladakh

1. Pangong Lake

You come to Leh and don’t visit Pangong is the biggest crime committed. The beauty of this lake is just mesmerizing.. You can sit there for hours and not feel the time pass by.. The drive from Leh to the lake gives numerous photographic sceneries to enjoy
The credit of brinning the natural masterpiece especially for Indians goes to the perfectionist Mr. Aamir Khan and his Three Idiots. Almost every Indian who watched he movie intend to visit this beautiful Lake site

2. Nubra Valley

Nubra valley was named after the wild creeper rose shrubs found in abundant in the valley. Nubra Valley is one of the destinations for tourists, which is about 120 kms and 5 hours driving distance from Leh. the highlight ot Nubra according to me is groing over Khandug La, a mountain pass situated at altitude of about 18,300 feet and one of the highest motorable road in the world. In the month of May and early June one can witness lot of snow there. Further on the way we can see small villages in the valley and Shyok river which is mesmerising. The color of the water changes from green to blue and it is a site to behold. I was recommended three places to visit in Nubra Valley Sumur (Monastry), Panamik (famous for its hot water springs) and Hundur (Sand Dunes)

3. Tso Moriri

Many people are awestruck by the beauty of Pangong and let matters rest - thus far and no further - making a lifetimes blunder . Tso Moriri is a different thing altogether .
Located in the Changthang (literal meaning, northern plains) area of Ladakh, India, this breathtaking High Altitude Lake (HAL) is located at an altitude of 4,595 m (15,075 ft). Tso means Lake in Ladakh. Moriri is the name of this lake
One should stay in the tents located along the shores of the lake to enjoy the beauty of the amazing Moriri. The blue of the lake changes colour depending on the time of the day -from azure to metallic cobalt blue & other shades of blue which I don't have names for...
